I was born and bred on Auckland’s North Shore, attending Westlake Boys high school until 2018 and graduating from AUT with a Bachelor of Sport & Rec (Sport & Exercise Science) in 2021. In my free time I like to train in the weight-room, travel and explore scenic places, go swimming, draw, and watch the NFL. I got into sport and exercise once I left high school, as I had developed a passion for helping others improve their abilities in strength training. I have always found that exercise can boost one in so many ways, such as self-confidence, stress-release, positivity, motivation and strength. I am passionate about inspiring others to do exercise, building confidence and positive relationships with other people, and developing training programs for all individuals. I started off as a student basketball coach at high school and have worked my way up to leading and developing teams at the representative level. I love to see athletes develop and progress in their personal skills both on and off the court. I will build plans to focus on improving an athlete’s weaknesses and strengths so they will see improvement in their performance. In life you have to experience failure and be determined to chase success! I am set to become the new Head Coach of the Long Bay college senior prems team. I hope to get the opportunity to reach my goals of going overseas to coach basketball professionally, either in Australia or the United States. I am available for private coaching.
